Tales of interest!

So, in a few hours the mother is picking me up,
I'm go spend xmas at her place, or at least most of it.
She might bring me back xmas afternoon, dunno.

Anyway, J got back last night, he called me when he was in town,
and had me take the jeep and meet him partway.
He got me the new Steven King book (woot).
I managed to force myself to only read a chapter or two last night,
otherwise I might have stayed up all night reading it.

Then we went out to dinner, and discovered that smoking went away again,
which is distressing, I don't like being left inside while he goes out to smoke.
But, probably since it was so cold, we had a fairly nice long sit and gab anyhow.

Turns out that J and I had miscommunications on money,
and I should be able to get a few more presents, but late, that's ok.
No reliable cell service at mother's house, but she's got internets,
she's even got wireless, if I had an ac adapter for lappy I could take that.
Alas.

I should take a hot shower to wake up and prepare for the kidnapping by mother.

A serious breach of urinal etiquette.

My mother is very silly.

I just called her to see where she's at,
she's already in town, doing some shopping.

So she tried on jacket and asked me how it looked on her.
... over the phone. I played along.
It didn't sound like her husband was amused by it as we were.
I made her lift up her arms and turn around for me to get a better "look."

Yes, I get my silly from both parents.

Mother's on her way to get me.

I just called curtis and sang cat stevens songs on his voicemail.
I probably sound like crap, but he'll get a kick out of it,
if he can hear me properly.
