eris is a jap-hag

I have whined for years that I wanted to learn Japanese.
In all the years I've been whining about it,
I could have learnt it already!

This has been the year of
"shut up eris and do something about it"
As will next year I expect.

I've been absorbing every bit of information on the language I can find.
"learn this language free!" stuff is limited but it's something.

I've learned a lot about pronunciation and sentence structure,
In one of the (heh) hentai I have on my desktop,
I'm actually recognizing words,
and can hear individual words even when I don't understand them.

It's daunting,
one wonders if I picked the most difficult language to be

I sometimes watch movies I wouldn't normally watch,
because I'm too lazy to try to find something else.

No desire to squint at the onscreen guide,
or move up to where I can see it.

That being said,
I just watched the end of The Terminal,
and was rather entertained.
