often forgotten

drivers licence expired, expected to spend all of today at the DMV
realized last night i've not the money for it.
heh

welcome to the wonderful world of expired licence and unregistered vehicle
i'll figure it out, it's just ... just a bit stressy and i'm stupid for forgetting to do it.

another day, another year, bah fucking humbug

i'm still 18 damnit (or i hate birthdays)

well my crazy mother came over for my birthday
dragging her parents along at the last moment.

i've got a better understanding of her morbid attachment to them.
one of the reaons we off and on don't get along is that i left her at 18ish
even tho she and i cannot live together and butt heads horribly she is very distressed sans children.
hence her unhealthy insistance on trying to keep biff with her as much as possible

her parents have bencome her children
the grandmother is very confused and nothing like the snide quick-witted meanie i knew,
the grandfather is pretty much the same, i get the impression he likes people to think he's slow
he's still very shrewd and observant.

it was rather uncomfortable,
my mother is acting like she's getting slow
she's only 55, she's feeding off her mother's confusion methinks.

i'd almost rather have seen my grandmother still the snide meanie,
this slow confused person i cannot deal with
this is why i had no real desire to see them,
