on Sunday the 21st we went to ren faire
didn't see tess anywhere, i couldn't remember if she'd told me where to look
i was on 2 hours of sleep and the whole thing is a hot blur.

went home and sleeeeep
then the next day MrH, peanut and i went to san francisco
to be in the "studio audience" of the screensavers on techTV

that was pretty damn cool
there are two studios, they walked us thru the one where they film all the other shows
then took and sat us down on chairs in the other studio.

didn't realize it was live
allegedly i was seen near the end of the show

after that we took ourselves over to pier 39
wandered some.
then ate at bubba gump's
i had salmon mmmmmmmm

and then it's been a crazy week at work
everything's all freaky over the changeover to company B
allegedly they're going to be much more strict than company A

a while back the four of us got tagged on "schedule adherence"
which basically means we were taking our breaks at wrong time and too long
me, Mike, J, and peanut.

except they all got actual writeups and i didn't. i just got talked to.
well the other day UM jeanne started pulling logs
allegedly everybody's logs who had had "schedule adherence problems" in the past month.
J got final written warning on schedule adherence and using his fon on the floor.
and mike and peanut got talked to.

me?
nothing.
and i *know* my logs have not been accurate
i'm taking breaks at the right times, but i know in the past week a couple have been too long
and i haven't been writing my login/logout times exactly, i just guess later and log it
and i even got caught with my fon on the floor during OT the other day
never got written up for it.

it's the four of us, which primarily hang out together
and got in trouble together
yet i'm the only one not getting shit.
it's beginning to look like it's cause I'M FEMALE

which is such crap.
but most of the management is female
plus they like me, bothers me that the may like me partially just cause i'm a girl
one could try to say, oh, it's cause i'm just very good at my job
people with higher quality and better attendance get preferences
is somewhat true.

however the three also have comparably high quality scores as i.
most of the night crew does.

pisses me right the fuck off.
and i don't know what i can do about it
i'd be making noise if it all wasn't going away in a few days

J is on his last leg, they pulled him off the floor last night and we were all sure he was fired.
nope, they just talked to him lots, and then let him come back in
but he can't fuck up AT ALL the next few days or he's gone.

today and tomorrow are the last two days of company A
today and tomorrow have been declared "special needs days"
which means they are double occurrence days.
because many employees were loudly saying they weren't going to come in the last day or last two days
cause all occurrences go away at midnight between the 27th and 28th

which means if you're absent on the 27th and it brings you to termination level of occurrences
you're fired.
your job offer from company B is revoked
