I FOUGHT THE STREP AND WON!

i've been feeling shitty for a couple days, then yesterday when i woke before work throat was all swollen with a big white spot

!!!

that means 24 hours to kill it or get to the ER before my throat swells to the point i can't drink water, so i did the salt water and Listerine gargles, took allergy and cold pills and vitamins and went off to work

drank lots of water, worked for about two hours, but my job involves lots of talking and my throat kept feeling worse, so i went to my UM and asked for something else to do which didn't involve talking. so for the next 5 hours i did filing.

throat did not seem to be improving but not talking made me feel better.
i was going to go straight to ER as soon as they let me go, i JUST got under 5 occurrences, no way was i taking off without permission and screwing up my perfect attendance.

so at 2:30 they let me go, i noticed i was suddenly having an easier time swallowing so i looked at my throat before i left, NO WHITE SPOT!
yay, so fuck ER, i went straight to store, got some more medicine, did some more gargle and slept.

i'm still sicky, but strep is killed before it got a chance to attempt to kill me again.

so i woke, showered, more gargling, ate some cream of wheat, drank some vitamin crap curtis gave me, am now going to tidy and then go couch hunting

i don't work till 9pm due to new month's schedule starting today
