ok, so kal came over
it's nice having him here, yes.

and he FIXED MY CABLE FOR ME

my free cable, and i get lots more channels than i thought i'd get without a box
i get scifi and mtv

i think i had more to say when i started posting this

we couldn't find the coaxal cable i had
so we went to walmart and he bought me a long one so that i can have the tv near my bed
and he got some food, which i'm 'cooking for him'

just sitting around with kal is fun
i get tired of being alone

kal has left, i'm very happy for the making of my cable to workie
although i haven't actually watched it yet.

i have a bid appt today, but i'm going to call in and do it instead of going to work.
i'm nervous and i don't know why.
i think i'll stay with Monday and Tuesday off if i can.

it was easy
2.45 to 10.30 with Monday and tuesdays off next month

i'm liking the later shift
it means .25 an hour higher after 6pm and all day on weekends
it doesn't sound like much but it does help.

tomorrow i have my vacation bid appointment
i had thought i wouldn't get ANY vacation time until i'd been there a year
but no, it's every January

you earn 8 hours (1 day) for every month of full time employment, up to 80 hours (10 days, or two weeks depending on hour you take your days)

so i worked full time for the months of Oct, Nov, and DEC
which should mean 3 days
and then if i combine that with my two normal days off that will give me 5 days off in a row
which will allow biff and me to take that birthday trip without me losing ANY pay or having to do a major schedule change, kick ass!

i can't pass up free food, even though i ate once
the reasoning is that if i eat as much free food as possible that that's less money i have to spend on food.
so i had 2 pieces of pizza

anyway, teacher handed us back our project i got 92% on it.
i think i got 97% on my midterm
so i should be golden.
handed in the final
so i'll just have to wait until i get thing in mail to find out what my grade was.

i am SOOO looking forward to this coming semester
