the people i hang out with at work are mostly DJ and Toby
both of these are nicknames, toby made the mistake of saying to DJ and i that he always liked that name and thought he looked like a toby.
he does.
it stuck, heh.

then there's the cute, tall blond wicca girl, she's nifty. she's very bouncy tho. lets call her L
and then the cute little ... some sort of asian .... chick, who is nice to talk to during the times when she's not falling asleep during training. we'll call her V
i think she'll do fine tho, she's not having any trouble learning the job, i think she's got another job as well or something, just very tired.

we haven't gotten our security badges yet, altho we got our lockers today. so we still have to show our id to the security guard to get into the building.

we had the most boring meeting with the guy that is the supervisor of the dept which we're going to be working in. ugh. both toby and V feel asleep during (at different times) and guy got a bit miffed
however L, who has worked there before, says that he's always miffed about something, a bit anal of a guy.

i am very very tired. it's only Wednesday and it seems like a whole week already.
we've got one more week of learning/training, then the last/third week will be On the Job Training.
which is a nice way of saying they dump you into a cubicle and you do the job, with someone checking on you and hanging over your shoulder ever so often.

i'm still amused at how 'high security' it all is, it's a federally funded company, well at least the dept i'm in. so part of all of your paycheques will be paying MY paycheque.
