the fray ....
it was nothing like the fray day i went to before.

this year was at the victoria (dunno about the times between now and when i went)
the one i went to (4?) was at the cell

oh no wonder! i just looked at fray day four on the site
it was a bigger deal than usual, art festival as well that year.

until i was too drunk to pay attention and we wandered off for sushi, frayday 4 seemed very much like someone's giant nifty livingroom where people would just take turns talking in the front. rather informal, very warm and social-y. a bar, tables with free wine, like 2 tables of free stickers and stuff (i had a fray day sticker on my laptop for a while)
and lots of fun, strange art stuff "i came out of the closet at fray day 4"

this explains why i was confused.
i'm sure it would have been fine if i'd known it was going to be something different then i was expecting.

anyway, i had to work at 7am on Sunday morning, so biff and i left. i was going to go straight to the bart station, but biff had wanted to take a glimpse of pac bell park.
he had no idea where it was, so we ended up lost in san fransico for a couple hours.

put me on my feet in that city and i can get anywhere
put me in a car and i have no fucking clue.

finally i said, just take me to the embarcadaro bart station, i'm pretty sure i can get us that direction even in a car.
i did.
and oh shit! there's pac bell park!
oh look traffic hell!

after getting stuck up in that for a while, and gawking at the hugeness of pac bell park out the car windows. we just went back to the 16 and mission station and i went home

got 3 hours of sleep and felt like shit the next day at work, joy!

so hopefully today is my last day of work there, yay!
