today is ferris wheel day:

The first Ferris Wheel was the highlight of the 1893 World's Fair. It was created by Pittsburgh, PA bridge builder, George W. Ferris. Supported by two 140 foot steel towers, its 45 foot axle was the largest single piece of forged steel in the world at the time. The wheel itself was 264 feet high. It had 36 wooden cars that could each hold 60 people. It cost 50 cents per ride - a high price in 1893.

in the move i discovered i have quite a bit of red and burgundy pro silky hair left
i'm pondering using it to give myself run lola run-esque hair
but slightly longer and a tad less round

but i did not find my video camera in the move and this worries me a whole hellofa lot (doesn't mean it was not there just means i did not see it)

which is quite all right because i needed to shut down things on the desktop to begin my 'why the hell is it being freaky' fixing

i uninstalled all the programs that were causing windows errors, deleted all their stubborn left behind pieces, norton scan to be safe, just finished scandisk on all drives, now defragmenting all drives

bleh.

good thing is that the show details of defrag is soo nifty looking, oooh wow and it's fast too
niftyness.

once i fix the little stupidness i'm going to try to make the drawpad work again, i'm going to be so sad if it's just deaddead. =(
