is it ok to use superglue near electronics, on plastic next to insulated wires?

reason, my first cam, a parallel quickcam has had a kinda broken cord for some time, as you can see in the picture, i wish i could just glue the outside plastic part of the cord to the body of the cam, but glue doesn't sound safe if i accidentally get some inside, as you can also see i have been holding it together with electrical tape as there is still black stuff where the tape was, but that seems to be only a temporary solution
(picture broken and missing)

also kal got me the most amazing little things, they're called pocket tripods! they make the quickcams look like strange electronic animals and they're so much sturdier and more practical than the stupid bases they come with, the thing the camera body sits exactly on swivels and turns all sorts of angles and the little knob thing on the side locks it into whatever position you put it in =D

on his computer looking at stuff i can't really see on a dialup, videos giggle makes for her chronicles and catching up with those, some shows at atomfilms.com, somehow i ended up at nakednews.com and i was watching that and trying to think of something else to look at when i remembered thesync.com and i thought to myself "didn't they go under?" so i go and look and they're still there, i can't figure out what happened from carla's logs, granted i didn't read every single one

does anyone know what happened, i thought they were having to close down, did they both just get jobs and are supporting the site from that? does anyone know?

oh it's time to go home nstuff!
