selene gave me some wonderfully pretty dishes many moons ago

well they didn't last too long it seems,
they are white with "platinum" trim, they said hand wash carefully, so i did.
not very trimmed they are anymore, you look at the trim wrong and it falls off
reminds me of my first tattoo, didn't stick around long.

is this a metaphor?
