i finally watched eyes wide shut, while awake last night

INTENSE!! i really don't think i'd like it so much if i weren't such a kubrick nut, and also i probably would have enjoyed parts more if i hadden't been able to tell where the cut parts were, I MUST SEE THE UNCUT VERSION

but i enjoyed it much, expecially the music, my brain sizzled with the ideas it inspired for hours after

Yes, I'm bored and readin ancient LJ posts...

I didn't think there was a single other sentient on the planet that loved both "Labyrinth" and "Eyes Wide Shut". Both movies have a grand vision to them, though vary wildly (and obviously Labyrinth was aimed at a younger audience. Well hell, I was young when I watched it and I *still* pop it in once a year or so. So there). I tend to think, though, that most people entirely missed the point of Eyes - they were too busy staring at boobies and making 'tsk tsk' noises that Stanley Kubrick broke down and made a porny movie. Ah well.

And I rather have to ask, is that really your first name? My Discordian cabal is placing bets here, and my High Priesthood is on the line. ::crosses fingers::

I never responded to this, did I ever answer you?

My name is Eris Kallisti May.
I do believe I posted a scan of my license soon after moving to Nevada,
but I disremember.
