my holy indignation and amusement at the original Chick tracts have led me to many more amusing things on this crazy thing called the internet
the chick tract parody site did a cross parody that just made me laugh my ass off, it's a parody of a chick tract AND one of my favorite comics(i own two of the books) Red Meat
this is a frame called from one called God Meat (the rest are here)

The Wiccan "Aquarian Tabernacle Church" did a couple of full-out Chick tract parodies a couple of years ago ... I'll have to see if I can dig them out ... I assume they don't have them up on the web (just guessing) but I might be able to convince them to let me scan & post them. One is based on Oberon Zell's story "The Other People" (see The Neo-Pagan Essence (http://www.eschatonbooks.com/eschaton/books/102/102-p1.html)) and the other is called "Heathens IDOLIZE School Prayer" (about the various gods for whom the days are named!). They're a hoot.

i started reading chick tracts when 2 friends of mine told me they were born again xtians & they showed me some chick tracts. back then, i actually took them seriously! :P i now see how silly they are. er, maybe my arteries have gelled or something.

Whether you love him or hate him, you gotta respect Jack for sticking to his guns. For 40 years he's cranked out tract after tract to help sinners "see the light". He's estimated to have completed over 140 different tracts, with over 500,000,000 distributed worldwide (in 70 different languages). His influence is so feared that entire nations have passed special laws banning his comics. Even as Political Correctness reigns supreme, Jack seems unafraid to take on the sacred cows. He steadfastly exposes The Conspiracy of Catholics, Masons, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Agers, Rock & Rollers, and any other group the devil might use to damn your soul. Jack also offends Jews and Muslims with previews of their fiery futures in hell (but only because he wants to save them). The more taboo a topic, the more likely you'll see it covered in a Jack Chick tract!
