SCREW YOU INTERNET EXPLORER!!

i have long been a pretty avid supporter of IE
because it's worked the best for me since version 4 (i think)
well as of the last upgrade IT'S BEEN A HUGE STINKING PILE OF CRAP
crashes at least once every 5 mins, sometimes as many as 7 times immediately in a row
on the desktop at least
on the laptop the upgrade fixed some issues so still IE there

but i've now turned to opera
it was [livejournal.com profile] grg actually who first introduced me to opera, but at the time IE was working the best for me so i just kept IE as my primary, it's been a hard drive or two since then.

so i downloaded and installed, friend gave me a keygen, and i'm OPERA-RIFIC
there's many nifty features which are either new or i hadn't explored enough previously to discover
and the best thing is NO CRASHY so far :)

And when it does crash you can restart where you left off. I like that.

i do not have many problems with IE.. i am using 6 with win ME.. though the last update messed with my cookies for Lj for a bit til i figured that out.. ( the support people were saying my cookies were off which they were not it was a security setting that effects how the cookies are ealt with .. bleh..
i tried opera once was not bad.. i just didn't like it.. i am a creature of habit.. i started surfing with ie.. and have stuck with it.. tried netscape many times.. and really really didnt like it at all ( and the cache was a huge memopry hog back when i first started using and was only on a dinky 486 which i had somehow managed to run win 95 on)
IE doesnt crash on me.. however i do have the occasional windows explorer crash..
