am i the only one that sometimes writes journal posts on a notepad before posting?

or responses, i do that a lot with responses, when i really want to think about what i'm saying

I use the LJ windows client so it is like a notepad app. It works fine. I don't like updating my lj from the web really.

yes i use the lj windows client too
i think also sometimes i do it when i'm writing a post that's going to take a while and i might want to use the lj client for stupid or little posts during the time i'm writing a big one

Sounds like a good concept cuz you can see more with Notepad or Word than in the little LJ client :o)

Never done it with responses, but I do sometimes write journal entries elsewhere first.
Not often though, because my writing is so terrible most of the time that I can barely read it. Unless I'm trying to copy someone elses style of writing that is.
