back in the day, me and my (now ex)boyfriend and his friends went dumpster-hunting for some furniture. we foudn this nice looking couch out on the curb in the rich neighborhood. we put it in the house. after about a week (this was summer and i actually wore shorts back then) my buttock/thigh areas were covered in hivey looking things and red and itchy. Then we found a note in the couch. It was this four page bloodstained handwritten letter by this woman who was sleeping on this couch that belonged to her rich friends. She cried about her children, her failing marriage, her financial problems that caused her ot have to shack up with her rich friend on her flea-infested couch. I wonder if they finally just asked her to leave and threw away the couch.
My ex never got rid of that couch. They still have it. They threw away the note.
