never got that tuna sammach
kal came home and we went to a movie and stuff
and i kicked spanky's ass a couple times
i want a modified lj user= tag
cause i say spanky and kal, not Kendryk and kalthrax
something like [lj user="kalthrax" show="kal"]
that's nearly as long as an actual link though maybe shorten it
[lj u="kalthrax" s="kal"]
from what i can tell so far it's just essentially a macro
maybe i'll just wait till we figure out that part and do it in deadjournal
by the end of the week i'm going to be thinking in IF THEN statements
another thing, am i to understand that
bradfitz wrote BML? if so then (heh if/then) i wonder why i had thought i'd already known about BML, i guess just too many ?ML things in my head
i'm also learning FAR MORE about how livejournal (and now deadjournal) works then i ever thought i'd know, i didn't realize how completely database driven it is
after i got over my initial shock of seeing NO index.html file i'm starting to make sense of it all, would have taken me longer to find the global .look file if
scsi hadn't pointed me in the right direction
suppose i should deal with some email now.

i tried to think up a witty response
someone stole my wit so i'll sleep instead
:)

Ah, yet another thing to go into my "LJ Boilerplate" file.
Re: Cool ...
the part of livejournal(and deadjournal) that does that is
around line 86 in /cgi-bin/cleanhtml.pl
oooh look i sound smart!
actually i was only half looking for it, and someone asked where it was on lj_dev
but i did look at cleanhtml.pl and found it
did't fuck with it though:)
