the ups man cometh?....

i haven't been very productive thus far today

the yellow slip of doom the ups man left yesterday said delivery after 3pm *points at the time stamp next to entry* steadily approaching 3, when do they stop delivering for the day? 5? 7?

at least i'd like to have gotten the dishes done before ups gets here, and i've got to find the last HD, the last hope for working computer for a while *gasp*
yeah yeah blah blah

ooo! my tiny excitement of the day! while i was doing some tidying downstairs i found my money tin, i had thought twas empty, it's got $4 in it!! (you have no idea how much little things excite me) so p'raps i shall get myself taco bell later =D

The golden "rule" for the UPS people is that they are not allowed to go back to the depot until their truck is empty. This can take well into the evening for some people. However, I am certain that some drivers take liberties and lie about the person not being home, etc. so that they can get away with not delivering the box. Our UPS guy used to do that when we lived in our apartment. Pissed me off, and UPS generally won't do anything about it. Anyway, the point to this was that there is no set time for them to stop delivering.
