ahh the great roomate search

decided to take a break from looking for a room to rent and see what studio apartments are going for
HOLY KEERIST

to put this into perspective i'm paying $445/mo for my nearly as big as a 1 bdrm stuido

6-7 hundred/mo !?!?!

oh sure STOCKTON has some studios in the 3-4 hundred/mo range but they're in parts of stockton i pretend don't exist and never go to, muchless LIVE in.

what's most silly about $700/mo for a studio in this valley is that you can still get a good sized apt or house for $800 - $1000 so how does that make any sense? i've seen a 3 bdr duplex for $800 a month, surely a crappy little studio in a crappy complex CANNOT be worth ONLY $100 less

assfucks.

i could SOO afford to split cost on something in the $800-$900 range, when i'm working my full 40 a week that is.

anyway so still with the room to rent search. emailed a couple more and responded to one.
there was one which disturbed me.

he had in his profile that tenant could only have 1 or 2 guess over maybe once a month and ONLY ONLY ONLY when he was home. ok if i want to be treated like a 15 year old i'll go move in with my mother ... no thanks guy.

i am for sleep now.

yeah sometimes i'm all kinds of stupid
it should have occoured to me that you probably weren't paying anywhere near as much as what i was seeing.

i also forget this valley sucks for finding decent priced apartments online, guess only the fancy complexes can afford the advertisement or someshit

what are your utilities like?

Utlities

I pay about 40 a month to Pg&E. water is of course payed for w/ the rent. so other than that it's what ever else you get. eg internet, cable etc..
