He got all kinds of freaky after that. I really think he lost sight of what he was trying to say a couple of books in and they just meandered off. I don't think he had quite gone off the path yet at Children of Dune, but I swear by the time I got to Chapterhouse:Dune I felt like I had to finish the book just because I read the rest.
