plus-size model?

i heard about this from a friend's only entry in someone else's journal so even though this is also friend's only i do not know if she would be upset if i said who she is, so i guess if she reads this she can respond if she wants credit :D

anyhow, this is confusing my brain a bit because in order to do this i had to admit to myself that i'm plus-sized, i tend to like to pretend that i'm acutally skinny but just have bad self image. heh
anyhow there's a site with really spiffy plus-sized clothing that is accepting model applications, they're based in L.A. and i'm not a very long flight from there and i should be moving there soon anyway, and it's not like a normal model thing were they can reject me because i'm not skinny enough (they'll just reject me if i'm not pretty enough, heh *twitch*) i tried to send as few pictures as possible, but i'm still vain and it was hard to pick just a couple that i think accuratly portrary me,
reasons i chose them:
the first two for pretty obvious reasons, they're good pictures, then a close up of my face, and a close up profile of my face, then a full body sitting on the ground kinda profile that spanky took while we were in vegas,
then the next 5 are older not so good quality ones, but they show a good portion of my body standing so as to give an idea of my body type (black is slimmming!)
and then the last 5 are from the ones giggle saved the other night and i included them because they show my current hair and me being pretty relaxed, i tried to leave out the sily kiss face one but i liked it too much and i thought it showed the bone structure of my face too.

and i said in the letter that i'm willing to do anything to my hair and cover my tattoos

so ... we'll see what happens, don't suggest any other pictures because i already sent the letter and if you've got better pictures of me then i'll just kick myself for not sending the better ones.
maybe the girl that i got the idea from and i will both get hired for the same shoot, hehe that might be fun
anyhow i'm expecting rejection as usual, but i figured it was worth a try

Looks good honey. =) one thing, is you CAN be too big to be a plus model. I tried, I went to a casting call last year, I passed the first round, then didnt make it cuz I was 'too heavy'. But then again, your thinner than me and taller so uh.....nevermind. You'll do fine. =) =)

I was, and now I'm not again. I slept in til 1:30 in the afternoon today and people were calling me all morning. I really do need to get on a good schedule, I started back at the gym so maybe that will tire me out some. I miss you guys though, maybe I will stop by tonite if I stay in.
