whoa i just noticed how long this thread went on, wow
for the record my hair is in nearly perfect condition, since i stopped dying black i haven't seen any noticeable damage from the bleaching and dying and braiding (ohmy), the lots of bleaching so close together to get my hair unpink and to be brown gave me a few split ends, my hair is very soft, not dry, not oily, like i said before i guess it's just stubborn like the rest of me (i don't get dry skin either, never had a cavity or broken a bone, i'm a freak of nature)

and i was just too curious about the developer alone so i brushed my hair and took the small bit of hair that naturally falls out and i poured developer on half of it
nothing.
it sat.
nothing.
i eventually washed it off to look at it (yup no effect) and tossed it in the trash

call it chemistry experiments for the bored
