I can't believe we were both raised Seventh-Day Adventists. I saw your post a few posts back, and was totally taken back. I was raised in that same hell my whole life. Just to see you mention Ellen White - OMG.... I am Wiccan now, kind of, maybe half athiest, maybe half buddhist. Just kind of wandering. I have been reading your blog for years. Sometimes comment. But this totally blew me away.

My Academy even came and performed at the Las Vegas sda church a few times (Thunderbird Adventist Academy, Arizona). Who knows, maybe we even crossed paths.

What kind of hell was our childhood?
I'm smiling now.
