started out great, ended up disappointing
but i still had much fun
i'll sort out which pictures turned out ok and post them following the words

we parked in the parking garage of the downtown plaza and had a little something to eat in the eatery place, chris was nearly pissing himself he was so excited, so they went on ahead to the crest while kal and dave and i ate

then we walked over, mostly following dave because he'd been there before to see some band once. i saw the crowd outside before i saw the theatre. dave went up to the booth and got his tickets, i was a little nervous about asking for mine, because i wasn't entirely clear on if i was getting actual tickets or what (eris gets confused easy sometimes) and i was worrying what if guy in booth didn't know, i didn't know

cyberpup's name so what was i supposed to tell them if there was confusion?
i told him my name and guy in booth said "eris what?" i said "just eris" guy kinda raised an eyebrow and grinned at me, i resisted the urge to say "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?!?" because sometimes something that only i think is funny isn't worth it ;)
he found an envelope that said "Eris + 1" and as he was handing it to me Mrs. Pup popped in the booth to grab something and grinned and waved at me (that's who i guessed rightly for her to be, had to be her or just some lady that thought i needed smiling and waving at)
and then we kinda stood there wondering if we should get in line or what, and chris came out of the theatre and told us we were allowed in that they'd clear people out and make them get in line when it was time and that there were books available still and bruce was signing in the theatre

so we went in and bought a couple books and i tried to get a couple pictures of him signing (you'll see what came of that below) and then we went back into the lobby and stood there sorta people watching and wondering if

cyberpup would recognize us before we saw him, i figured he'd see me cause that's the way it usually works.

then suddenly this guy popps out of a door that says "manager" and comes straight towards me, says hi or hey or you made it or something to that effect, and just as he makes huggy motions at me my brain goes "hey cyberpup!"
and then my brain says "damnit i always forget i'm tall" it always surprises me because i really don't leave the house much so i start thinking i'm short or just below average height, silly me ERIS WARRIOR PRINCESS!

the pupman was much cool, very easy to get along with and i was excited to finally meet him =D

so after talking with mr. pup for a while and in the lobby and then outside, i asked him if we could possibly get in before the line, he said sure just stick near him, so we sat and bullshitted in the lobby with him till they started letting the line in, then we rushed in and got seats in the second row.

then some silly introductions and announcements, then guy on stage introduced bruce campbell, and he came on stage right, and some blonde guy came in stage left dressed as ashe, so guy pretended that blondy was the real bruce and ordered bruce off stage, he was nearly off stage left then he pulled out a knife and ran back and stabbed blondy, blondy had to pull on his squib to get himself to bleed (which was highly amusing) then he slumped down bleeding on the floor and just laid there
then some talking by bruce and some q&a, and some arguing with some strange talking tiki statue thingy, it was all horribly funny and i wish the stupid battery in my video camera had not been dead

at some point guy behind us elbowed me in the head so hard i saw stars, then first was a short little documentary film he'd made called fanalisis ABOUT his fans and fantypepeople in general, it was very nifty and funny, and i took a couple pictures of the screen and those turned out
then we watched evil dead II, it was much fun, lotsa yelly people but it was funny, i wished i'd taken a couple pictures of that for the hell of it, but i didn't know that the pictures of the short film took well

kal kept going out to where bruce was still signing in the lobby to see what number they were at (some number system going on that i didn't understand) and by the time the movie got out they were at 200something and our numbers were 600something, so i tried to get a couple pictures of him, then for the hell of it i got his attention and asked if i could sneak in to get a picture of him, he very nicely told me no, and that all the nice people waiting in line might be pissed if i did
i almost cried for a min or so but then i calmed down

then line was all the way to the door, the lobby was packed, we had to get home so kal could get some sleep before work so i couldn't stand in line, so i didn't get my book signed eigther :(

so i ended up dissapointed but in general it was a very fun night
i really wasn't expecting to be able to sit that close anyway, dave kal and i had hung out with

cyberpup to get in before the line, we managed to save A seat for chris, and the others (anthony, bill and some kid named paul i think) were a little pissed that we'd gotten special treatment, anthony mostly, but anthony just likes to bitch, blah blah blah

back in the lobby, me trying to take a picture of cyberpup and i, kinda failing at getting myself into the picture but it's cute

bruce leaning over to pick up one of the silly cards the announcer tossed, fake bruce still lying dead on the right

chick from the audience (plant) feeling bruce's chin to decide if it's real or plastic surgery, fake bruce still (breathing) dead on stage

i think someone's leaning over dead fake bruce again, i don't remember why, announcer at right

bruce off to the left doing something funny that i disremember, fake bruce still lying on stage, announcer at right

chick coming out to present bruce with "the golden chainsaw", bruce suggested that he could sign it and they could raffle it off, announcer (still extreme right) states that it's just a rented prop
