I've done this. Maybe it's innacurate, but I've used it as a way to measure who really cares about you and who wouldn't care if you fell off the earth, suddenly.

But then again, I think to myself if I'm holding back from saying something to someone else, how could I blame them for doing the same to me? Kinda contradictory, but still, I end up doing this, time to time.
